The Process

At Koru, we pride ourselves on crafting premium knitwear that not only feels luxurious but also embodies a commitment to natural materials and sustainable practices. Our knitwear is created using traditional techniques combined with advanced technology to deliver garments of exceptional quality, comfort, and environmental responsibility.

Traditional Craftsmanship with Modern Innovation

Our garments are produced using the Cut, Make, and Sew method which is a traditional method involving cutting individual pieces of fabric and sewing them together to create the finished product.

Each item is carefully hand-cut to the accurate size, minimising size variance and ensuring consistent fit and quality across all our garments. This method also allows for greater creative freedom, enabling us to design and produce more detailed and complex patterns that machines alone cannot replicate.

Additionally, sewn-in seams contribute to better shape retention over time, maintaining the garment's fit and structure through repeated wear.
